Top 5 Most Memorable Christmas Ads

The festive period is upon us! 🎄

As we get closer and closer to the annual festivities, we start to reflect on the last year, but for marketers and holiday advert fanatics alike, it means only one thing. You guessed it, Christmas ad campaigns.

We take a look at some of the most memorable!

Sainsburys 2014

Christmas is for sharing. Made in partnership with The Royal British Legion, it commemorated the extraordinary events of Christmas Day, 1914, when the guns fell silent and two armies met in no-man’s land, sharing gifts – and even playing football together.

John Lewis 2015

This Christmas ad pulled at our heartstrings with the fantastic Man on the Moon. The story follows a little girl who is trying to look at the moon when she finally does, she notices a lonely elderly man.

Google 2018

Not one you would typically associate with the usual Christmas ad campaign but recreating the classic Home alone with Macauley Caulkin certainly brought people back to their childhoods.

Asda 2022

One for the ELF fans out there! Asda has a new Christmas colleague. This advert has been extremely popular since it’s release last month gaining 2.2M views alone on Youtube.

Coca-Col 1995

The iconic “Holidays are coming!” advert was first shown in 1995 and has stayed in the nation’s hearts for over two decades and will probably be most people’s favourite.
